Once the package is chosen, a $500 deposit secures your date. The balance is due closer to the day.

The earlier the better - weekends book out fast. 

For the Play Your Own Wedding package we also want enough time for your lessons beforehand, so a few months' lead time is ideal.

If you want a great dance-floor, that's th Wedding DJ Service.
If you love the idea of playing a set at your own wedding, that's Play Your Own Wedding.
And if you just want to learn to DJ - for the wedding or anything else - that's DJ Lessons.

As much or as little as you like. Some couples hand me a full playlist, some give me a vibe and a few must-plays, and others just say "read the room." All good - it's your night.

Yep, within reason. I'll always keep the floor moving, so if a request fits the moment, it's in - and if it'd clear the dance-floor, I might gently save it for later.

Yes - it's a great idea to have tunes playing as guests arrive and mingle. 

The cocktail-hour sound is an add-on (from $300), so the whole day sounds good, not just the reception.

I bring my DJ setup. For speakers / PA and lighting, some venues have their own and some don't - tell me your venue and I'll let you know exactly what's needed (If not, I will include speakers suitable for most micro weddings - up to 50 guests)

I keep the key music moments flowing and can make simple announcements.

Absolutely. Most people I teach have never touched DJ decks - that's the normal starting point. The whole package is built to take you from zero to confidently playing your set.

You won't be alone for a second. I''ll be nearby the whole time, and we'll plan your set so all the tricky parts are handled. And if it does happen... we'll get you back on track in no time! I've got you :)

Six one-on-one lessons in the lead-up, at your pace. You come to my home studio and we build real skills and shape the exact set you'll play. Each lesson goes for 60 minutes.

Usually around 30 minutes, but it's yours - some people catch the bug and play longer. My first client went a full hour!

Of course - solo or together, whatever suits you and your partner.

We learn on the same DJ equipment I'll be using at your wedding, so you don't need anything to get started. 

However if you want to practice more outside of class, it is recommended you get your own set up - get in touch to find out which gear I'll be using (and how much you'll need to spend to get it).

Definitely - six are included, and extra lessons are $100 each if you'd like more time before the big day.

For sure - DJ Lessons are available as a standalone option, whether you're prepping for a party, learning for a future event, or just because you've always wanted to. No gear or experience needed.

It is possible! However every DJ uses their own setup, so the gear you use for lessons may not be the same. If you can find out what the DJ is playing on we can see if it will work - get in touch to discuss.
